SOUTH BEND, Ind. (12/5/2014) -- Senior Louisa Coppola won the 3,000-meter run Friday to highlight action as the University of Detroit Mercy women's track and field team opened the 2014-15 season at the Blue and Gold Invitational on the campus of Notre Dame. Several Titans were making their track and field debuts in the individual-only invitational, which featured teams from Notre Dame, Northern Illinois, Marquette, DePaul and Bethel.
